Two new pieces of Latin learning in this unit. Firstly, we look at some  Latin numbers and their English derivatives. That’s followed by an exploration of ‘being’ verbs.

We’ve seen a few Latin nouns in the first unit of this course, but now it’s time to learn more. Unit 4 expands our knowledge of two types of Latin noun.

We’ve had a look at verbs, so let’s look at making them a bit more interesting by learning about adverbs and how they work in Latin and English.

Romans were big on doing, and so Latin is a very verby language. Logical, then, that we start with verbs. In this unit, we learn six verbs and the endings that show us who is doing the action in the present tense.
