The final unit has no new grammar or vocabulary, but gives us the chance to practice what we’ve learned throughout the course. There’s also some extra learning that’ll be useful outside of Latin lessons. These lessons can be done in any order.

Our final language topic is verb-infinitive pairs, plus we tackle a retelling of the Odyssey in Latin.

Let’s tackle a new verb tense in English and in Latin.

This unit features a number of different language topics as they’re all fairly straightforward. We’ll learn several ways of expressing negatives, as well as how to give direct commands and join sentences using conjunctions.

Get ready to meet a whole new kind of Latin noun, and learn to deal with never-before-seen vocabulary.

In Unit 9, we go back to verbs to expand our knowledge by learning about the past continuous tense.

In Unit 8, we meet another new word class – prepositions. Not only do we learn to translate them in Latin sentences, but we investigate how they often show up as English prefixes.

New unit, new word class! In this unit, we learn how Latin adjectives work, and how they have to match the noun they’re describing.
