I’m retiring this summer and when the School Council were asked what they wanted from their new Headteacher, they said it had to be someone that would keep Latin – how lovely is that? They are involved in the interviews for my job next week, so watch this space! We’ve also just had Ofsted, and they were really impressed that we teach Latin – don’t know if it will make the report, as it wasn’t a deep dive, but it certainly helped in the discussion about curriculum design decisions.
